Case history - 25

It is now the first week of June 2016 and the tree has been fed well with pellet fertiliser supplemented by liquid feeds as well, hence the tree has put on good growth extensions so time for some scissor pruning. The photos below show the tree before and after pruning.

A month later in July the tree was taken to our Artistic Bonsai Circle group meeting where further scissor pruning and thinning out was undertaken along with some refinement wiring of some of the shoots to clean up the foliage pad profile lines.
The photos below illustrate the before and after work with some of the work undertaken being quite subtle.
